How the Dr. Pen A6 Works
When in use, the ultra-fine needles create tiny microchannels in the skin, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin. This leads to firmer skin, gradual scar reduction, and smoother wrinkles. The pen can be used in multiple directions, making it suitable for treatments on the face, neck, décolleté, abdomen, thighs, buttocks, or scalp.
When paired with a facial serum, the A6 delivers even better results by enhancing the skin’s absorption capabilities.
Charging and Battery Guidance
The Dr. Pen A6 comes with two rechargeable batteries for convenience. For salon use, it is not recommended to operate the pen solely in battery mode, as built-in batteries can overcharge or eventually drain over time.
- Charge for approximately 20 minutes, or until the pen’s indicator light turns green.
- Do not operate the device while charging, as this can reduce battery lifespan.
- If the device turns on but does not run, the battery may be drained and require recharging or replacement.
How to Sterilize Microneedling Cartridges
Proper sterilization of your microneedling cartridges is essential for safe and hygienic treatments. Follow these steps:
- Gather your supplies: disposable gloves, 70% (or higher) isopropyl alcohol, and a clean container.
- Put on gloves to prevent contamination throughout the sterilization process.
- Inspect the cartridge to ensure the needles are in perfect condition (not bent) and remove any visible debris.
- Pour alcohol into the container and submerge the needle tip for several minutes. Alternatively, spray the cartridge head thoroughly with alcohol spray.
- Allow the cartridge to air-dry completely before use.
- Your cartridge is now ready for treatment.
